Movie Trailer Tuesday - Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Movie Trailer Tuesday.  The soon to be released movies in the paranormal, scifi and fantasy genres. Today's choice is Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
If it isn't a book...it's a video game?

Question: I didn't know Persians had British accents.

Premiers "Summer" - PJV inside sources are saying May 28th
From the team that brought the "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy to the big screen, Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films present "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," an epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia. A rogue prince (Jake Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Great trailer, thanks for sharing! I've never actually heard of this movie before but it is definitely one I would want to watch!

I have to say that Jake Gyllenhall looks way hot in this movie! It does seem similar in style and effects to another video-game-to-movie: Lara Croft, but it looks like it might be a good watch and Jake certainly is a good actor. Especially with biceps like that! ;-)

I'm kind of on the fence on this one. I love Jakie-poo but his long hair and faux British accent makes me take a pause. Will I see it? Probably, hello Jakie-poo is all hot & sweating good enough for me!

@Ladybug - eeww glad I could expand your movie IQ. Woot woot.

I'm so glad to contribute to swooning @JA

@Nicole - I think it is the same Pirates of the Car. peeps. I know a few PofP aficionados are grumbling because they are not casting it with real middle eastern actors. But I believe Hollywood is looking at #s instead of authenticity - and Jake will probably pull in a lot more viewers than the guy from the Mummy (the secret society guy/helper) especially with those new and improved guns

@Smokin Jakie-poo? LMAO. The funny thing is every time I hear his fake accent I keep on having a flash back to the arse shot in Jarhead. Not that I'm complaining.
