Movie Trailer Tuesday - Splice

We've been celebrating Macabre May over at Blog with Bite - so I've been in the horror mood. This one fits right in.

And as an added bonus I saw this yesterday, and love Vania's work, so had to include it. I'm sure everyone has seen it by now, but viral marketing right??

Director: Vincenzo Natali
Cast: Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley, Delphine Chanéac, David Hewlett, Abigail Chu...

Synopsis (from Wikipedia):
Two young scientists (Brody and Polley) achieve fame by successfully splicing together the DNA of different animals, creating new species. In the pursuit of even greater scientific discovery they secretly blend human DNA with their creations, ignoring their society's ethical and legal boundaries. The scientists name their creature "Dren". Now they must come to terms with their decision as the deformed infant quickly develops into a beautiful, yet deadly, winged human-chimera.

Epic- but as a genetics-crazed person myself, I do get slightly annoyed when the capabilities of modern technology are grossly overestimated. That said, I find out that it's not horrifically scary, I'll probably see it!

I can't wait for this movie! I hope it comes out in the theater here! Nowadays, I rarely get excited about movies but this one is one of them!

Looks SO creepy. I have this odd fascination/adoration for Adrien Brody. I think it's the sexy confident way he carries him self.
