PJVs QUICKIE POV:  First off where do I sign up for tattoo like nerve endings? Everything about this book was sexy, the cover, the concept and the characters. A quickie read, with an intense story-line, I'm never really gushy fangirl over books leaning towards erotica...but this was a treat.

REVIEW: Alinna Gaerrii is on a routine observation mission of the human Starforce base on Earth. She is a member of the Inarrii race, an enlightened member of the Confederacy and their intent is to welcome the human race into their fold...but only after close investigation to see if they are what they appear. Trustworthy.  Her observation ship is knocked off course and crashes to Earth when a human vessel also crashes in the same area. When she is mistaken for the only female on board the human vessel, a psychologist sent to evaluate a Special Forces team on base, Alinna grasps on to this mistaken identity and decides to use it to observe humans more closely.

Alinna doesn't expect Major David Brown, though. All human, all male and seriously suspicious of her. As David and Alinna begin to interact more and more Alinna realizes that there is more to the human race than she first suspected, including the ability to connect with her telepathically, which is a trait she thought only the Inarri possessed. This could mean wonderful things for the two races...and as she delves deeper into David's mind...it means wonderful things for her also, including a little bit of inter-species relations (ooh that sounds kinda freaky).  What better way to introduce yourself to a new alien race, right?

What can I say, I'm blushing writing this review. A great read, and not just because of the sexy scenes.  This book was also well written, very well written for an eBook and an erotica, and the plot was very interesting. Cain's explanation of the Inarrii was pretty interesting and I wouldn't mind meeting and Alien race like them someday. My only thumbs down on this one was the quick ending, it almost cut off to quickly, and I don't feel like the author took as much time with the ending as she did with the middle and beginning.  It was almost like she was hurrying to meet deadline...and penned a quick wrap-up.  It wasn't really that major though, the book was entertaining and I can't wait to read more from the author.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Adults only, this is an erotica novel so there are graphic sex scenes, a lot of cursing and even a bit of bondage. Nothing BDSM though, just light fluff.

I've never read erotica and even though I'm 19 now, if my mom ever saw that I was reading that book, I would be seriously embarrased. Looks like a good book though :)
