Forces of daemons are gathering and have broken through the barriers of the Underworld. Now more than ever the Eternal Guardians are needed to protect both their own realm and the humans’. Eve of Samhain Eve of Samhain by Lisa Sanchez

As a college senior and server at Hanaford Park's hottest nightclub, twenty-one year old Ryann Pierce's plan was simple: work hard, make lots of money, and avoid the ass-grabbers at all costs. What she never planned for was Quinn Donegan... the living, breathing advertisement for sinful behavior that waltzed into her life. With an angelic face, a hard body and a butt-load of charm, Quinn had a way with the ladies...a lot of ladies. Cursed with a deadly, addictive touch, his trail of indiscretion blazed across five hundred years. Tired and jaded, Ryann is a shocking revelation Quinn didn't see coming. Filled with desire, yet unable to touch one another, Ryann and Quinn embark on a daunting journey, battling frustrating physical limitations while exploring their new love. In a race against the clock, Ryann learns she must plead for Quinn's life before...the Eve of Samhain. Determined to end her lover's suffering, not even the danger dogging her every move can keep her from her mission.

Generation Dead: Passing StrangeGeneration Dead: Passing Strange by Daniel Waters

Karen DeSonne is used to pretending to be something she’s not.  All her life, she’s passed as a normal all-American teenager; with her friends, with her family, and at school.  Passing cost her the love of her life.  And now that Karen’s dead, she’s still passing – this time, as alive

Meanwhile, Karen’s dead friends have been fingered in a high-profile murder, causing a new round of anti-zombie regulations that have forced nearly all of Oakvale’s undead into hiding. Karen soon learns that the “murder” was a hoax, staged by Pete Martinsburg and his bioist zealots. Obtaining enough evidence to expose the fraud and prove her friends’ innocence means doing the unthinkable: betraying her love by becoming Pete’s girlfriend. Karen’s only hope is that the enemy never realizes who she really is – because the consequences would be even worse than death.

Immortal QuestImmortal Quest  by Alexandra MacKenzie

It’s London, England, and Detective Nick Wilson finds himself confronted by a burglar who insists that Nick is his best friend suffering from amnesia, and that he, the burglar, is a 500-year-old immortal mage. Logic and reason force Nick to believe that this is simply impossible. Complicating matters further is the burglar’s claim than an evil mage named Vere has just been released from limbo, and wants three objects of power that could destroy humankind.

Cinco de Mayo Cinco de Mayo by Michael J. Martineck

In Chicago, a transit worker now knows enough about the Aryan Brotherhood to mark him for death.
In Abu Dhabi, a playboy experiences modern day slavery.
A New York advertising executive shares the memories of a blind railroad working living in China.
And in Washington, a neurologist now studying the phenomenon must fight back the mystic memories invading her mind.
In a world of individuals, sudden intimacy is not for everyone. Some like the openness, some will even kill to keep their secrets.

Cinkarion: The Heart of Fire (Chronicles of the Karionin) Cinkarion: The Heart of Fire (Chronicles of the Karionin) by J. A. Cullum

Tamar is a world inhabited by nine humanoid races, plagued by racial and religious hatreds, and steadily moving towards an epic war.

But war is not new to Cibata, the largest continent in the Southern Hemisphere, where only one human nation, Cassinga, survives when once there were three, and the Senangan Empire, ruled by the tiger folk, has vowed to see its destruction.

Saranith Kamrasi, a member of Senanga's royal family and an officer in its navy, is summoned by Cinkarion, one of eight living crystals. It brings her great power, but destroys her lifelong companion.

Yet the Wizard Nathan, also born a Kamrasi but abandoned by his parents for lack of weresight, defends Cassinga despite his tiger blood.

When the Wizard Elgan's apprentice is taken by the Senangans, Nathan and Elgan must turn to Jerevan Rayne, the man who hadn't wanted to be a wizard, and enter the heart of Senanga to rescue her, with the ultimate fate of Cassinga at stake.

Cinkarion is the second book of the Chronicles of the Karionin trilogy.

good job sowan is how you pronounce that stupid title but I know what you mean it's confusing. Definitely will look forward to more of your imm

So-wan - I'm sure that a lot of us "readers" have the pronunciation problem. You see it printed a million times, but never spoken aloud. So when you finally find a use for it in a sentence you sound like a deet.

Awesome vlog post! You are adorable!

Sorry about the confusion with the correct pronunciation of my title. Samhain is pronounced "Sew" like sewing, or the word "so" and "en."
Hope that helps!

I was beaten to the pronunciation help! But I did want to say I love that you made a video! I like seeing what people look like when they are from blogs that I adore. ;)

Oh, and I totally agree with you about the weird way the webcam works!! I was using my husband's MacBook last week to try it out for my IMM and the camera is like, totally reversed from the way you think it'll go! Argh! Trying to get the covers into the shot was a nightmare and took a lot of retakes and editing. ;) Do another one though I will watch!!

Loved the VLOG, Rachel. It is so much fun hearing the voice (and the accent for us from outside of the USA) from a fellow blogger. You did a great job - hope there will be more in future!
