Trailer Tuesday - Paranormalcy

What do you think of this trailer? I'm really looking forward to reading this book, but I'm not that impressed with the trailer. Maybe it is the song?

ParanormalcyParanormalcy by Kiersten White
Release Date: September 1, 2010

Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.

But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.

The book has all the awesome. I promise. The trailer..ehhh....not so much. It doesn't fit the book. I'm not sure if that music would fit anything.

The book sounds really good. But I'm not crazy about the trailer, it seems too simple. I think the book has some funny parts and maybe the music is trying to give it a more up-beat mood???

I'm dying to read Paranormalcy but that song?? So bad. Maybe it was a mistake? Let's hope they grabbed the wrong sound file...

The song really seems out of place. Makes me appreciate my own trailer even more!

sounds very interesting. but the trailer did seem pretty shabby. the title makes me think of a book i bought yesterday called "Angelology".
