Announcements:
PJ has been asked to be a part of the Amazon Vine program so review acceptance will be greatly impacted. For this reason, I'm opening up the blog for associate reviewer positions. I'm taking this very seriously. I'm a stickler for a bit of order and I like things a certain way. This blog is my baby and I've put off doing this for awhile. But, now I think I need to.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:
  1. Not have their own blog, or at least not a full-time blogger.
  2. Live in the US - to cut down on shipping purposes
  3. Be very open to eBooks
  4. Fan of Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy, but also open to reading/reviewing Science Fiction, Horror, Young Adult, Dystopian and erotica (everything, I don't want to do a pick and choose)
  5. Can write a great review, with just enough snark but happiness all rolled into it! ;)

Also...guess who's birthday is on the 30th of this month. Ugh, I'm going to be 33!!! I'm dying my hair pink. Ok, just a stripe.

I think that is it. Have a wonderful Sunday folks! XOXO

Happy early birthday! I have to admit, someone told me that my 30s would be the best time of my life. Shockingly, they've been right!
I'll have to research the Amazon Vine program, I've only started hearing about it recently.

Oh I hope you find an associate reviewer that fits your qualifications! :) Congrats on the Amazon Vine program.

Happy early birthday as well. :) You and my best friend have the same birthday.

@Maria - Happy Birthday! Fellow Aries Unite! LOL Does that compulsiveness show through? Urgh. 33, I know I should still be feeling young, but as the kid gets older and my baby brothers are having their own babies and taking over the world one country at a time, I'm feeling old. ;)

@Tynga - TY chick. You are very lucky to have Lucy.

@Jennifer - Thank you! They are good, they are settled, you know, no more crazy drama and intense emotional upheavals, LOL. I just get to have fun when I want, and work my butt off the rest of the time. ;) There is not a ton of stuff out there about it. It is just amazon's program. I know you definitely increase your chances of getting on the program by posting your reviews on their site.

@Cialina - thank you. I hope so too...I feel like I'm being to crazy about it though. Thanks for the birthday wishes - it's a good day. March and October are the best months in NOLA - I milk it.

You did a wonderful job and I like your reviews and also the way to phrase them. It is always an interesting read. If I was living full time in the US instead of spreading my time between there and Canada I would totally submit to be a assistant-reviewer.

Good luck finding one.

Mary

How do you say the word meme? I've only ever read it online, never heard it pronounced until today. In my head I call it "mem-me" but sounded like you said "meam". Things that make you go hhmmmmm. LOL

@Mary - Thank you. I know shipping can be so crazy, it would cost me a fortune and not a lot of publishers will ship to Canada, unless they are Canadian unfortunately.

@Joy - it is pronounced like it rhymes with STREAM or THEME. I totally wanted to say Me-Me too, but in the wiki post it is said that you say it with that long eee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme
