The Great Rafflecopter Try Out Giveaway

Parajunkee's View is testing out a few things this month...this new Blogger interface, the Google + stuff...and then to top it off this handy dandy program called Rafflecopter. The Rafflecopter is a program that helps bloggers with their giveaways. You might have seen it around...I'm just now getting into it. Here is the deal: Rafflecopter tracks all those pesky entries, the ones that are VERY hard to keep track of and they also pick winners for you. Makes giveaway giving quite easy.

What does this have to do with you? It comes down to a choice. The last time I gave away design the winner seemed, well uninterested. (Can you believe it!?? WTFE! ;) So I'm trying again. But, just in case...I'm pitting it up against, what else? Some HOT ARCs.

Here are the details. The winners (yes two) of this contest will have the choice between a new blog design by me or an ARC from the stack that I picked up at ALA 2011. I might cry when ya'll go for books...but I wanted to make this interesting. The ARCs listed are the initial choices...more will be added as the contest goes on. The more entries, the more books. This is a follower contest, but I'm not trying to gain followers, just reward...so more entries, more books. We get to 100 comments another book will be added -- 200 comments another book and another winner will be added. Sound Fun???

TWO WINNERS! (With More Added as We Increase)

UPDATE -- 100 comments reached...

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater added...

Winner #1 Will have the choice between the IN THE BOX ($100 value) design - custom made for your blog (see details at parajunkeedesign.com)
or ARC of DARK PARTIES by Sara Grant
or ARC of THE NIGHT CIRCUS by Erin Morgenstern
or ARC of FOREVER by Maggie Stiefvater

Winner #2 - If Winner #1 does not choose the design package you can choose that, or a remaining ARC in the list.

Complete the RaffleCopter to win. Goodluck! This is a FOLLOWER REWARD giveaway so you must be a follower of the blog to win. I haven't done this in a really long time - but I wanted to see how this copter thing worked with mandatory follows.

For rules and regulations please see my GIVEAWAY regulations page. Any questions just email me.

Also, for the Rafflecopter...just follow the directions, it is pretty straight forward. If you are unsure, there is a CLICK FOR DIRECTIONS and it tells you want to do. Leave a comment if it is too confusing. This is trying it out, if you guys have a problem with I will not use it again in the future.

From looking at it, I find Rafflecopter rather confusing - I won't enter this time round but I'll search for it later and see if I can get used to it!

My fav of yours is this one - the goth girl is so cool and the black/purple combo is my favorite. I've checked the other websites, I swear - I liked book blogging, too - but this one is the best.

DESIGN! DESIGN! DESIGN!

Seriously, we can get ARCs anywhere else (theoretically speaking), but an Original Parajunkee Design is something that's only available here! As you already know, I asked you to make my header, and I really love it! =)
It would break my heart if everyone joining this contest went for the books.

PS -- I find Rafflecopter kind of tricky, but that's just because my learning curve hasn't kicked in yet. I'm sure that if more bloggers start using it for giveaways, we'll all be as familiar with it as we are with the Google Docs forms. =)

I love love love DARK FAERIE TALES.

I am dying to find out how Rafflecopter works for you. There were a few complaints about it during the Freedom Giveaway Hop, but I think it had more to do with how it was set up by the host rather than the service itself.

Also, I think YOU (Rachel) are absolutely brilliant as well, and I would be HONORED to have your design on my blog. I'm also eying that "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern ARC -but if push comes to shove, I'd take YOUR awesome designs over any of that, any given day! :D Thank you for your generosity, as always! :D

Thank you for sharing the generous giveaway today. I am not crazy about the Rafflecopter, but it is okay. I sometimes feel like I am having to jump through too many hoops and that takes the fun away for me in enjoying the post, reading about the new book, and getting excited about reading it. I am not trying to be negative - I love your site and will always return for the fun regardless :)

Denise Z said...

See what I mean about hoops LOL - I did not do the form first and I always leave a comment so that I do not accidentally enter something more than once, because for some reason I will often get multiples of the same email or if I have not had time to follow a post I will go back for a few days and read them :) I really liked the designs on Spirits, Hauntings and Eats and Star Shadow - they were both very different and both wonderful.

They weren't excited about a blog redesign by you??? *falls over in surprise* I am saving my pennies for one (stupid exchange rates are driving me mad).

I have to say that I am not a great fan of the rafflecopter setup.

Thanks for your generosity Rachel!

Loving The Book Vixen's design the most! And wtf, they weren't excited? That's kind of messed up. :/

Thanks for the awesome giveaway and your generosity!
