Name: Rhiannon Murphy
Book Series: Rhiannon's Law
Job: Bartender
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 120
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown
From: Miami (resides in New York)
Significant Other: Gabriel Trevellian (nickname Disco)
Signature Move: Anything that gets the job done.
Kill Highlights: Severing the head of a psycho child vampire.
Enemies: Are currently dead. Others are a work in progress.
Favorite Pastime: Enjoying a meaningless existence.
Other Facts: An F-bomb and cursing enthusiast. Works out religiously. Loves her butterfly knife and Ruger. Favorite book is Jane Eyre. She wouldn't admit it but she watches more television shows and old movie marathons on the boob tube than she should.

And without further ado...here is Rhiannon.

So you want to know about me? Jesus, can I ask why? Ms. Loves To Share My Life AKA The Breeder AKA J.A. Saare tells me it's because of a showdown of some kind. I don't know what in the hell she's been sprinkling in her Kool-Aid. Does she honestly think I'm in the mood? After the craptastic journey she just put me through, I deserve a break. Unfortunately the Mistress of Diaper Hell doesn't do those, and she's the boss. Because of that, I'll try to play nice. As a warning, this isn't a country club and I'm going to talk to you like I would anyone else. If you're adverse to foul language, I'd consider hitting the back button.

Are we ready to roll? Fabulous.

My name is Rhiannon Murphy. I was born in Florida but moved to New York following a series of unfortunate events. No, I'm not referring to the Lemony Snicket variety. I'm talking about things that will turn a black motherfucker white. No need to go Jackson. Oh well, it's like they say: Same shit, different day. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Believe me, I know. How? Simple.

I died.

I saw the pearly gates, heard the angels sing, and almost stepped into the ever after permanently. How's that for on the job experience?

Aside from that, I'm really an everyday Jane. Sure I have my quirks, but who doesn't? Seeing dead people isn't that big a deal. Gross? Absolutely. Impressive? That's open for debate. Although my necromancy is changing and ghosts are providing me with more power than I anticipated, it's not going to stop someone from blowing my ass away with a Bazooka. I can be beaten down, and I can be killed. You just have to make sure you're ready to bring a picnic lunch because I'm going to make sure the job is an all day affair.

Truth is, I'm more than capable of holding my own. When I fight, I don't fuck around. There can only be one winner. If the person standing in the end isn't me then I'm going to make sure the person stupid enough to piss me off doesn't walk away unscathed. Where I come from there is no honor and there are no rules. In my playground, you fight to live. Since I'm not too keen on adding to the spirit population, I'll do whatever it takes to keep breathing.

Even if that means destroying anything in my path.

Vampires, and werewolves, and demons, oh my.

Rhiannon thought facing off against a deranged child vampire was the most dangerous task she would ever have to undertake, but she’s about to discover making a deal with a demon is far, far worse. Sent forward into another reality, one in which vampires are now dominating nearly extinct humans, she realizes the sooner she returns to her vampire lover, Disco, the better.

Unfortunately, time changes a lot of things; including those most trusted around her. When she’s faced with a loss and betrayal unlike any she has ever known, her focus shifts from severing the debt between the demon that wants to kill her, to exacting a revenge that will bring forth consequences she never could have fathomed. By reaching out to the darkness lingering within her, she’ll find the strength to push forward despite the circumstances that would see her dead and buried.

After all, when it’s all said and done, all that she has left to lose is her soul.
About the Author:

J.A. Saare is a multi-published author in varying genres and has written stories featured in horror magazines, zombie romance anthologies, and flash fiction contests. Her work has a notable dark undertone, which she credits to her love of old eighties horror films, tastes in music, and choices in reading, and have been described as “full of sensual promise,” “gritty and sexy,” and “a breath of fresh air.”

Currently she is penning numerous projects within the urban fantasy, erotic and contemporary, and of course, paranormal romance categories. Her website is www.jasaare.com. Those interested in her “naughtier” side can visit her alias, Aline Hunter, at www.alinehunter.com.

I love them both, but I gotta vote for Rhiannon! She's my favorite UF heroine cause she is badddddd! I love that she doesn't take any shit from anyone and has no filter. She'll take on any paranormal and won't think twice about it.

Rhiannon is as hard core as they come. Like I've said before "her ass can cash the checks her mouth writes!"

I am about a fickle as they come. I love both these girls and how do I solve this dilemma. I am not going to tell you - so there, but a hint I have cast my vote in more than one place today LOL Thank you for sharing the fun. I definitely have The Renfield Syndrome on my wishlist :)

This is the toughest choice so far. I hate to even have to choose, honestly. I chose Kitty. But only because I love the book covers. So shallow but true.

The author is totally new to me, and her books sound fascinating, albeit kind of creepy! Must go research to see what book to start with.
