Faefever by Karen Marie Moning

PJVs QUICKIE POV: The third in the MacKayla Lane Series {Fever Series} - this one left me breathless and screaming my head off at the conclusion. I don't want to give away anything but you have to read this one...have to!

REVIEW: The fever series plot thickens in FaeFever as Mac gets closer to her sister's killer. The darkness threatens to close in on her as more and more is revealed about the Sinsar Dubh and Mac's abilities.

Barrons & Mac creep closer to the illustrious book, but doubts arise when things are revealed about the Sinsar Dubh, like the fact it is very powerful and can destroy you with a touch. While tracking the book, Mac remains employed at Barrons Books and Baubles trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy - but can't keep the darker part of her life at bay, especially when the interesting Inspector Jayne starts setting his eye on Mac.

V'Lane can't stay away from Mac again. He starts pouring on the charm big time in FaeFever. He really is an enigma in this series...I really doubt that he is as bad as Moning wants us to think he is.

All in all a great third in the series. I'm not quite sure about the potty-mouth Dani and what to think of that whole Sidhe-seer thing. And the word fecking just irks me...LOL. Other than that - enjoying this series greatly. I was slavering over the cliff-hanger ending and wanting to kill someone...BTW.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Adults only, has some R rated themes. This is an urban fantasy novel, with any romantic hinting, just that - a hint. Fans of Richelle Mead's Succubus or Eugenie series should enjoy.

I have not read anything by Karen Marie Moning yet, but I keep seeing her books everywhere. I guess I better hop on the bandwagon to see what I am missing out on!

Ha! I felt the same freaking way after the third book!

It is fun to see that you are reading the books back to back just like I did when I first discovered the series!

I have yet to read any of these books but they seem to be popping up everywhere. Must be a sign. I love the new background!

Can't wait to see what you think of the end to book four! If you think you were screaming with this one...

This series is just brilliant. I know so much yet so very little at the same time. I think I trust some people, but it's hard to know for sure. Glad to see your enjoying these!

Her books always have just the right ending to have me tossing the book across the room upset that I have to wait so long to find out what happens next. Love the series.
