Feature & Follow Friday #60

Welcome to Feature & Follow Friday (err Thursday) on

If you are new to the #FF fun, Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Now to make this #FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES > Feature & Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!  It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

Our Feature  - Caught in the Pages

I have always loved reading, even when I was little.  I was the type who would be reading more than one book at a time, all the time, couldn't get my nose out of a book for anything.  After growing up, life (aka husband, job, had a baby) caught up with me some and I just didn't read like I used to.  I discovered other book blogs by chance and fell in love with the idea of sharing something I love with the world.  I started my blog hoping that if nothing else, I would be motivated to keep reading and reading other blogs would help me to discover great new books.

I am constantly bugging my husband about books and even convinced him to buy me one instead of going to see Transformers 3 (I think I have an addiction).  I am either reading a book, reading about books, or lusting after books.  I also dream of owning a Kindle.  I love anything involving love (yep, just full of love here).  I put the smell of a book up there with the smell of fresh bread and the smell of coffee brewing (don't think I am weird :P).

Q. In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

Vampires...HOLLA!!! But not the skeevy ones that just can't help themselves to blood and are like crazy friggy blood sucking machines. No - I think vampires need some free will.

Now for the Follow Fun!

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers - Jenni Elyse & Caught in the Pages
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  7. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Happy Follow Friday!

Follow it up with your twitter address if you want to get that one out!

I can think of a few choice vamps I'd like to see turn real world. :)

Thanks for featuring me through Alison Can Read! I'm very excited about it!

I'm not sure I'd like vampires to be real. Even though there may be good ones, there always seem to be evil ones and that kind of scares me, lol.

Lari said...

Yeah, I don't know that I'd want vamps to be real. Especially if they are anything like the ones in the American Vampire graphic novels. lol

I picked something a little more benign (BUT STILL AWESOME).

I just love this feature!! :D Thanks so much!

For me, it really depends on which book the vampires are coming from! Twilight vamps would be pretty cool (they sparkle!), Vampire Academy ones would be amazing, but vampires from Paranormalcy don't seem like they'd be much fun (all frail and weak underneath their glamour). Oh, and really bloodthirsty ones wouldn't be that friendly either! ;)

Thanks so much for hosting another really fun Friday, Parajunkee! I LOVE this question!

Here's my Follow Friday! And there's still a few more days to enter out my 100 Followers (now almost 300) Giveaway if you have the time! :)

Oh this is a must answer question for me. Although, I'm gonna wait until it's officially Friday since I just posted a new blog today and I have this thing about the date tab at the top of my blog post. For some reason it just drives me nuts if I have 2 posts under the same date. Guess I'm just weird like that. lol

As much as I love vampires in books - they are a little to scary for me to wish to be real. I'm new to the Follow Friday. Have a great weekend!

I'm always soo late to these. Please don't give me a tardy slip!

I love the question this week. But it's so unfair because I'd like to choose more than one! Ultimately I went with the Fae given Dreamworks interest in KMM's books.

P.S. - I love the new color of your blog! It's like a desert for the eyes now. Very chocolaty-esk. I want to eat it! LOL

I just love your blog; its so beautiful. This is such an awesome blog hop. I'm new to book blogging and blog hops and I'm really excited to participate and meet new bloggers!

Not sure I'd want to meet any real vampires...unless they were as hot as Eric Northman ;)
