Giveaway: Dark Souls by Paula Morris

Keep Your Space Peaceful with this Dark Souls Prize Pack:
Win a Sage Candle & a Copy of Dark Souls!

Welcome to York, England: the most haunted city in the world.

Miranda Tennant arrives in York with a terrible, tragic secret. She is eager to lose herself amid the quaint shops, hoping she won’t run into the many ghosts who supposedly roam the cobblestone streets. Then she meets Nick, an intense, dark-eyed boy who knows all of York’s hidden places and histories. Miranda wonders if Nick is falling for her, but she is distracted by another boy -- one even more handsome and mysterious than Nick. He lives in the house across from Miranda and seems desperate to send her some sort of message. Could this boy be one of York’s haunted souls?

Soon, Miranda realizes that something dangerous -- and deadly -- is being planned. And she may have to face the darkest part of herself in order to unravel the mystery -- and find redemption.

Peaceful? Hmm...I've got 2 rugrats, so peacefulness typically eludes me. Life is mostly crazy and fun, with few quiet moments :) lol

Interesting you should ask me that today. Been one of those days. Music is how I stay calm. Now that I'm home today, the music is going. Missed it today for lots of reasons.

When I want to feel peaceful I usually listen to a film score/soundtrack and read. I can turn around just about any bad day by doing that.

The only way I get any peace in my house is to wait for everyone else to go to sleep, and then just enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book! I would really like to win a copy of this one, because it definitely looks and sounds like a good book:)

I like to read and listen to music to find some peaceful moments. deedeebamagirl at yahoo dot com

Pabkins said...

To get that sense of peace I do something crafty, like knit or embroidery or paint. It forces me to push out all other thoughts. Usually the repetitive stuff like knitting is the best. repeat repeat. I love reading also because it takes me away - but usually it gets my emotions all fired up which is definitely not peaceful! Thanks for the chance to win!

This is a great giveaway! Thanks you for hosting. I stay peaceful by curling up with a good book--one that I have really been wanting to read. Then I close my eyes and let the story replay in my head. Of course this doesn't work so well when the 3 yr old and his daddy are around, so I have to have the house to myself too! :)
