Feature & Follow My Book Blog #65

Welcome to the Feature & Follow

First I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to my CO-HOST Alison!! You rock chick. I've been flakey with this meme because of late posting - and forgetting and she has been on point! Make sure to go over there and give her a big TY too!

If you are new to the #FF fun, Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Now to make this #FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES > Feature & Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!  It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

Our Feature  - Kati @ Jagged Edge

Hello!
I'm Pixie and it's a pleasure to be here.

My insane love for books began as just a kid. Instead of collecting dolls or rocks or seashells or something "normal" kids would, I was seeking books.
Now over a decade later, I still have the crazy love for them, and I like to share my love with discussions and reviews on my blog. Blogging has become the greatest outlet for me, someone who doesn't have very many people to talk about books with in person.

I am an aspiring author struggling to get published. I reside in Texas and I have a cat who bullies me. She's the boss around here.

"The Bookaholic" is a blog dedicated to my obsession. Books. Of course, isn't that why we're all here? Sometimes I post my own writing there to share with readers, but it's only small excerpts and not often.
I read a little bit of everything, but I enjoy mostly YA, Paranormal, Fantasy, Dystopian and Historical Fiction. I am also a huge fan of Shakespeare, with upcoming plans of getting my favorite Shakespearean quote tattooed on me for my birthday.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.

Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

I would want to see THE NIGHT CIRCUS which I think it is actually becoming a movie and I would want Tim Burton in on it (obviously - but he is not on it) and then of course he should put his regulars in it - Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter (she could be one of the sisters!), Mia Wasikowska or maybe Ellen Page or Carey Mulligan, the twins -- ack that would be Saoirse Ronan and who knows Emile Hirsch or someone like that. Can you tell I'm all over the place?

Now for the Follow Fun!

RULES

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  7. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Happy Follow Friday!

Follow it up with your twitter address if you want to get that one out!

I want to read The Night Circus so bad. I've heard great things about it and it's on the top of my TBR list. I'm also a huge Tim Burton/Depp fan and after reading the synopsis, I could easily picture it being one of their projects. Haha. Sounds fantastic. :)
I hope you have a great weekend and thank you so much for the feature! :)

WOW! yes! I was expecting to see that answer, because I have heard that the book was amazing and of course! Tim Burton and gang MUST do this film - who else, besides maybe Guillermo del Toro. Saorise Ronan is perfect!

Need to read this book ---

Yes, The Night Circus is being made into a movie. I think that's a fabulous idea to have Tim Burton do it. Maybe he'll do his own version?

LOL. Night Circus is being turned into a movie. I must be living in a rock. I picked the Mercy Thompson Series for my answer. I just love that series to pieces.

Great choice Rachel! I bought Night Circus for my mother last week. I can't wait to read it when she's done.

I'm not familiar with The Night Circus... but if Johnny Depp and Saoirse Ronan will be there, that would be exciting for me =)

I'm struggling with followers but I guess that's a part of blogging, to gain new followers! Thank you so much for hosting this weekly meme and I just love Friday! I'm a new follower too!

I'm a new follower joining the Friday fun and I'm glad I did because it led me to your site, which I think looks terrific. The Night Circus seems to be drawing a lot of attention right now, so I'm going to have to check it out. And your choice of Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, HBC et al. have to be one of the better cinema combos in recent time.

I've not read the Night Circus yet, but it sounds like you wanting Tim Burton and co in on it, it would be an amazingly creative movie/book.
