Feature & Follow Friday #58

Welcome to Feature & Follow Friday (err Thursday) on Parajunkee.com

If you are new to the #FF fun, Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Now to make this #FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES > Feature & Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!  It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

Our Feature  - Steph Likes Books

Because of a failure to post by the other feature...our only feature today is Steph Likes Books...

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?

The funny funny thing is, I didn't read young adult as a teen. I was reading young adult novels when I was in the age bracket of 7 to 10. By the sixth grade I was reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz. When I was done with the horror genre I went feet first into Fantasy - tearing through series like the Dragon Lance series (I mean Tanis Half-Elven was epic, probably my first fiction crush). When I went through series after series...fantasy was always very close to the  science fiction section, so I began picking up the greats like Heinlein, Asimov, Clarke...and then the fabulous Adams, Keyes, Card,

Our Feature  - The Book Addicted Girl

Hi, my name's Megan, and I'm a self confessed Book Addict. I talk about books non-stop.  And although my family is bookish, I started to annoy even them with my constant chatter about what I was reading, my favourite characters,  etc.  I started blogging because I wanted to find fellow YA book readers.  And I did!
What makes me different is my insanity.  I read anything - and I mean anything.  I always have two or three books on my person in my ridiculously big bag.  My favourite kind of books are everything paranormal, though recently I've developed a love for contempory, dystopian and historical novels.  A few of my favourites are Vampire Academy, The Mortal Instruments, The Hunger Games, The Iron Fey series, If I Stay, Before I Die and Harry Potter.  I'm currently reading seven books, though I'm concentrating on Haunting Violet by Alyxandra Harvey and Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs.  I can never seem to read just one book at a time...

Q. Let's step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?

After my trip to Vegas...there is only one T-Shirt that would describe me.

Feature & Follow Friday #13

Hi welcome to Follow Friday! Let me tell you what is going on today.  First PJV will be featuring one blogger from this great community each Friday along with having the Follow My Book Blog feature. Each week one blogger will be selected as a feature, so sign up for the Follow Feature.

Our Friday Follow Feature is...

Tina @ Book Couture

Tina [tee-nuh]: - proper noun
1. an Aussie teen blogger with an unnatural amount of passion for reading.
2. the overenthusiastic blogger behind Book Couture and the Book Contest Directory

Book Couture [book koo-toor]: - noun

1. An odd mix of words, together meaning "high-end book fashion".
2. A YA book blog owned by a silly bookworm who babbles too much about books.

-taken from "Tina's Imaginary Nonsensical Dictionary".

Tina is a normal teen, who often finds herself hopelessly lost in imaginary, magical worlds, such as Hogwarts or Panem.  Often, she is transported to other dimensions via small, powerful objects called books. The books contain letters that merge into a myriad of words, sentences and stories. They assemble and form in Tina's mind as experiences that take her breath away. Tina loves reading books that take her to other places and cultures, be it in the future, present or past.

Wanting to share her experiences with the powerful magic that is called reading, Tina begun her own journey into the webs of the blogosphere in the form of a blog called Book Couture. She was hoping to encounter other book lovers like herself and learn about wonderful new worlds to explored.
But she has found something more than that - a priceless community of supportive, book blogging buddies with whom she can always share her experiences with.

Thanks for the visit Tina! {How cute is she???} My question for you guys, what is your high fashion book? --- translation --- best book cover ever.
